2003 Played in all six games at the 2003 Women’s World Cup. Named to Canada’s 2003 Pan Am Games team. Scored against Australia on September 14, 2003. Scored against Mexico on September 4, 2003. Came on as a sub against Mexico on August 31, 2003.  Came on as a sub against Brazil on July 20, 2003. Came on as a sub and scored her first international goal against Brazil on July 17, 2003. 2004 Came on as a sub against Japan on July 30, 2004 . Played against Costa Rica in CONCACAF Olympic Qualifying Tournament. Played against China and Sweden in the 2004 Four Nations Women’s Tournament vs  China, Sweden, Costa Rica, Japan;

 

2005 Rhian started against Germany on September 4, 2005. She played 90 minutes against Germany on September 1, 2005. Played for Ottawa Fury and won W-League 2005 Scoring  Championship and tied for the Assist Leader with 38 points on 13 goals and 12 assists. Named to the 2005 W League Championship All Tournament team. Named 2005 Player of Year for Ottawa Fury and Federation du Soccer de Quebec. Named to the 2003 W-League All Star team and the 2004 W-League Championship All Tournament team in her first season with the Ottawa Fury of the W-League.

Canada wins Cyprus Cup in March 2008, and Rhian passes 50 caps mark. Started in midfield in international friendly vs France. With their starts against Sweden, Rhian, Candace Chapman and Christine Sinclair tied Kara Lang's mark for 21 starts in a season. Nominated in 2007 and 2008 for Canadian Soccer Association's Female Athlete of the Year. Elected as 2008 Fan's Player of the Year. Rhian was honored at the 36th Quebec Sports Gala in Laval in December 2008. She received a "Maurice" (the award named after the Canadiens' star Maurice Richard). This recognizes her as the Quebec Athlete of the Year in a Team Sport.

 

2009  Invited to NWT camp in Los Angeles with new Coach. Invited to National Camp in Rome from 23rd - 28th February 2009. Started vs New Zealand on 5th March in 1st round of Cyprus Cup (T 1-1) Started vs Netherlands on 7th March (W 2-1) Started vs Russia on 10th March (W 2-0) to reach Finals of Cyprus Cup. Started in Toronto 25th May 2009 to play against originally Japan, then USA (L 0-4). Selected to National Camp in the USA. Started vs USA on 19th July in Rochester, New York (L 1-0). Injured for 2nd match with fractured vertebra. Invited to National Camp Florida USA 3rd - 14th November. Signed new contract with Team Strommen of Norway. Despite being injured, joined Team Strommen squad for Pool rounds of European Champions League in Croatia. Won first two pool matches by 5-0 & 9-0. Came on in the second half of final pool match vs Everton and lost 1 - 0 by a goal scored in the 2nd minute of overtime. In September 2009, played in Team Strommen side that reached Finals of Norway Cup. Appointed interim captain of Team Strommen in Fall 2009. Selected to Team Strommen for their 3rd consecutive appearance in the Norway Cup final. Lost 1 - 0 on 7th November 2009.

 

2010 Selected to the WNT squad to travel  in February to the Cyprus Cup. Played friendly vs Poland in Larnarca (W 3 - 0) Played vs Switzerland in 1st round of Cyprus Cup (W 2-1) Match vs England re-scheduled Saturday 27th February due to wet, unsafe pitch. Started vs England and won 1-0. Came on as a planned substitute in Cyprus Cup match against South Africa (first match ever played between 2 countries. (W 2-1) Started in Cyprus Cup Final vs New Zealand (W 1-0) Selected for Canada squad to China May 2010, but ash cloud prevented travel. Selected for WNT camp in United States and first ever friendly vs a WPSL Club Washington Freedom (T 3-3) Selected to start against Norway in friendly at Hamar on 3rd June 2010. (T 1:1) Selected to WNT training camp in Rome Italy 25th August-12th Sept. 2010. Started vs Germany in Dresden on 15th September (L 0:5). Selected to 22 squad at Nottawasaga camp 21-30 September prior to 80th cap when started in 3:1 victory vs China at BMO field.  In CONCACAF FIFA World Cup Qualifying Tournament in Cancun Mexico  Started vs Trinidad and Tobago (W 1-0) on October 29, started vs Guyana on October 31 (W 8:0). Started vs Mexico (W 3:0) Started vs Costa Rica (W 4:0) on 5th November. 2011 Selected to WNT squad OF 24 to travel to Chongqing, China, in January for Four Nations Tournament, where Canada finished second. Started vs China (W 3:2), vs USA (L 0:1) and vs Sweden (W 1:0) Selected to WNT squad for camp in Italy to prepare for Cyprus Cup. Started vs Scotland in first round, 2nd March, of Cyprus Cup (W 1:0) Started vs Italy on 4th March (W 1:0) Started vs England 7th March (2:0) to reach Finals. Wednesday 9th March. started vs Netherlands (W 2:1) Canada ranked 6th by Fifa in world rankings. Invited to Rome Pre-WWC training Camp in Rome Italy from 24th March - 20th April. CSA ambassador to Moncton New Brunswick to announce match vs China. May 2012 with Karina Leblanc, acted as CSA ambassadors to meet Prime Minister Stephen Harper & FIFA President Joseph Blatter in announcing host cities for 2015 FIFA Women's Word Cup. 26 May 2012, selected to 22 member squad to travel to Moncton, New Brunswick for match vs China PR. Came on as half-time sub in match on 30 May 2012.  (W 1:0)

 3rd June 2012, announced to CSA's All-Time Canada XI Women's Soccer Team. 25th June 2012, selected for 18 player Canada squad to travel to the London Olympics. 30th June 2012 Started vs United States in friendly at Rio Tinto stadium, Sandy, Utah, USA (L 1-2) 9th July, Started in friendly match vs Columbia in Vevey Switzerland 14th July 2012. Started vs New Zealand in Switzerland in opening round of Match World Women's Cup 2012. This was sixth clean sheet for the defence in the last eleven internationals. (W 2 - 0) Subbed in at 60 mins against Brazil to  earn silver medal in the Match World Women's Cup on Tuesday 17 July 2012 at Savièse, Switzerland.

Canada’s Women’s National Team was named Team of the Year at the 40th Canadian Sport Awards held in Calgary on 17 October 2012. Set National record for 14 wins in a season.

After numerous presentations and interviews, including the Queen's Diamond Jubilee medal, and a return to the University of Tennessee for Alumnae weekend, Rhian returned to play in Norway under contract to Toppserein league leaders LSK Kvinner (Lillestrom Sport Cllub) Won the Club's first ever Gold medal in Norway Toppserien League.

1st December 2012 Federation Du Soccer Quebecois Award  for 2012 « senior excellence féminin »,c’est la joueuse Rhian Wilkinson qui a remporté  la palme.

26th November 2012 nominated as one of eight women players for  BMO Athletes of the Year Award.

3rd January 2013 Rhian was selected to the 21 strong squad for the Yongchuan Cup - Four-Nation Women's Tournament 2013 China PR. Started vs China in opening game (W 1:0) 14th January subbed in at 63 mins - assisted on goal. (L 1:3) Passed Andrea Neil as 3rd most capped player form Canada WNT with 133 caps 16th January Started against Norway. (T 0:0) to make Canada runners up.

11th January 2013 Allocated to the Boston Breakers of the NWSL.
