CanFund has been at all of Canada's games in the Olympic Qualifying
Tournament. Many of the parents and supporters of the Canadian
athletes have had the
opportunity to meet Jane or Meagan and have
received their CAN Fund "Proud Parent of a Canadian Athlete"
T-shirts.
For the Fund to continue its good work in providing bursaries for
Canadian Olympic athletes,
Canada soccer needs to spread awareness of
the CAN Fund and right now the biggest way to help is by spreading
word of Christine Sinclair's $12 for 2012 campaign. This asks
Canadians to donate the amount of her jersey number $12 to CAN Fund.
Eight of the current women's soccer team have
received CAN Funding including Christine Sinclair and 17 have
applied, along with 783 other athletes to CAN Fund on January
6th, 2012.
With every donation you will receive the name of the athlete
supported and a tax receipt.
