The Canadian National Women's Team played a friendly match against a strong Los Angeles Vikings professional team last night and came away with a 3 - 0 win. It is a good indication that the program is on track in its preparations.

The Canadian team played well in spurts, but there is still a need to  play well for the whole game. However, with the team yet to taper down after a hard week of training, they have yet to reach their peak levels of performance.

The goals were good ones, scored by Tanc, and CJ who scored 2. All the goals were well-taken. This has been a tough week of training for us and our legs are tired, so well done to the team for pushing through and getting a good result against a strong team.

Off to ice baths and bed, as we start again early tomorrow.
