We are slowly starting to get back into camp mode at the moment. Our morning was a quiet one with treatment and meetings. Other than this everything was low-key, just rest and relaxation.

It si a great feeling to be back with the group, and everyone seems refreshed, re-energized and excited about our upcoming games. We are well aware that the USA is a tough team to play, especially coming off the FIFA World Cup, and so we are preparing diligently for our games against them.

In the afternoon we headed to training at the MLS Kansas team's  training facilities. The temperature is hot here, as high as 92 F, so we are being weighed in before and after training sessions in an attempt to stay well hydrated. 

The practice session itself was a good one.  I thought everyone looked sharp and excited to be back out on the field and playing the game.

The evening was another quiet period. Television watching, computer perusing and coffee shop finding. The later was accomplished with astonishing speed. It turns out that there is a Starbucks shop in the lobby of the hotel!
