CANADA HAS ITS STRONG SUPPORTERS June 5th 2010
Photographs all from Pendray Harrison
Every sport and every successful team needs its avid supporters. Canadian Women's soccer is no exception. Pendray Harrison traveled from the United Kingdom to Hamar, Norway (some 115
km outside Oslo, to see 11th placed Canada grind out a good 1:1 tie against
6th ranked Norway.

Pendray writes, "I had such a good time at the game. It was a wonderful feeling
to sit down in the stadium, surrounded by Norwegian supporters and cheer on
Canada. The feeling was almost surreal. I was so excited to be at the game.

Pendray continues, "Rhian and KK were GREAT. I got photos with both of them and
then I went to meet the team and had a photograph taken with them as well.

The game went really well, and I thought the Canadians played better than Norway
right from the start.

The trip is long and Norway is one of the most expensive countries in the world
to live, eat and travel. Pendray concurs,"Norway was definitely expensive,
really expensive, but absolutely without a doubt the experience was worth the
trip."

Many thanks to the supporters of the Canada WNT who go to great lengths to prove their support.

Pendray took several photographs at the stadium and some of these are included here. Others will be coming soon.
