RHIAN'S SOCCER JOURNALS: A BIG THANK YOU 29th January 2008 On Tuesday 29th January 2008, Julian de Guzman As I said in my interview, "A big thank you to all Canadian Women's team fans who voted in this poll. I am incredibly honored as a Canadian soccer athlete. When you see the quality and skill of my teammates, I can only accept the award with humility." I have enjoyed writing for my website and trying to stay in touch. All of us who write journals want to keep you up to date with all that is going on. I know that fans from across the country supported me, and I extend my thanks to them all: Thanks go amongst others to the Under 8 Intercity Pointe-Claire Little Flames team whom I recently met, with Keely and coach Carla Rotondo; to the Ottawa Fury Club, John Pugh and their classy organization; and to Martin Silverstone and my Rugby Club in Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue who support the Women's Soccer team and always welcome me to their training sessions. The Canadian women's soccer team has some of the best, most loyal fans of any sport, or country, and this is even true when it has been so long since we played at home. "My thanks go out to you all. The Canadian Women's team value all your support more than I can say."
